Review : Lierac Hydra Chrono+ Teinte in Sable

Hey my darlings! Today I’m gonna review something from a brand I’ve never tried before! The brand is Lierac, which is a French one, and the product is called Hydra Chrono+ Teinte tinted gel-cream, mine is in the shade Sable. I recently started using it and at first I was afraid that it would make me super oily, but thankfully it didn’t!

Let’s start the review with the packaging as always. This tinted gel-cream comes in a gorgeous hot pink plastic squeezy tube that holds 30ml of product. The squeezy tube is fine, but the product gets a bit all over the opening of the tube and the inside of the cap, so a pump would be a great idea I think, I love pumps in general. I’d also like to add that you can’t see how much product you have left, but that’s not a big deal. Here’s what the packaging looks like :

The actual product is neither thick, nor runny and it’s really easy to blend. I usually apply it with my F80 Flat Top Kabuki Brush from Sigma and it looks great everytime. You can also apply it with your fingers if that’s what you prefer, but I generally avoid applying foundation/tinted moisturizer with my fingers, because I tend to use a lot of product. The scent of this tinted gel-cream is nice and fresh and I personally love it, but if you’re sensitive to scents you might wanna ask for a sample before buying it. It gives a light to medium coverage (more on the light side though) and a natural finish. It hydrates my skin enough so that I can use it without a moisturizer (I have oily skin), but if you have dry skin you’ll need a moisturizer underneath. Although I have oily skin this product doesn’t make me look oily within 2 hours as long as a set it with a little bit of powder. Granted it won’t last all day, it doesn’t claim to do so, but it will last between 5-6 hours depending on your skintype. I start getting oily and I need to blot after about 4 hours of wearing it, but with a couple of blotting sheets I’m good to go. It doesn’t irritate my skin or clog my pores and it also doesn’t stick to my dry patches, which quite a lot of foundations and tinted moisturizers tend to do to me (so annoying!). You can see here a makeup look that I did recently using Lierac Hydra Chrono+ Teinte in Sable and keep in mind that I haven't added any powder on top. Here’s what the product looks like on my hand :

Now let’s talk about the price of this tinted gel-cream. It retails for about 26Euros in Greece and you get 30ml of good quality 2-in-1 product (moisturizer and light foundation), so it might sound a lot of money, but I think that the price is pretty good if you’re gonna skip moisturizer with it. Plus I have 3 online pharmacies for you that sell this product cheaper : Pharmacy2go , Parapharmacie.gr and Pharmacy4u with the first one being the cheapest at 18.19Euros. So, no matter what your skintype is if you’re looking for a good, easy to use daily tinted gel-cream then definitely give this product a try! You can find Lierac products at select pharmacies and of course at online pharmacies, like the ones I mentioned.

FTC : Lierac Hellas kindly sent me this product for free to review. My opinions are honest as always, because YOU come first! I would never recommend to you something I didn't like :)
