Review : Pharmasept Tol Velvet Extra Mild Shower (SLES/SLS free)

Hey chicas! I recently reviewed the Tol Velvet Intensive Hand Cream by Pharmasept, which I love and today I’m reviewing for you the Tol Velvet Extra Mild Shower by the same company. This shower gel is sles/sls free and it’s designed especially for sensitive, dry and irritated skin.

Packaging : it comes in a white plastic bottle with green designs on it, with a cap that you simply open by pulling and it holds 300ml! It’s a decent size in my opinion, neither too big nor too small. You can’t see how much product you have left, unless you place the tube in front of a strong light.

Scent : I can’t really describe what it smells like, but it reminds me of the scent that many pharmaceutical products have, that clean, mild scent. Men can definitely use this shower gel as well, since it has a very neutral scent.

Color & Texture : it is transparent white I would say and its texture is neither thick nor runny. (unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the shower gel and now I’ve used it all up)

Usage & Results : You can use this shower gel literally everywhere, on your body (yes on your female parts too), on your face, even on your hair. I only used it on my body, because I don’t like products that produce foam on my face and I have several sles/sls free shampoos that I’m using. I have sensitive and on some areas dry skin on my body (my legs for example) and this shower gel didn’t irritate or dehydrate it, so it’s mild indeed. It contains urea that performs a light chemical exfoliation, while the vitamin F and the pro-vitamin B5 lock in the moisture, leaving your skin soft. It also contains aloe vera, which is known for its soothing and softening properties!

Ingredients : Aqua (Water), Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Urea, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, Coco-Glucoside, Sodium Pca, Panthenol, Disodium Coco-Glucoside Citrate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Polysorbate 20, Disodium Capryloyl Glutamate, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Ppg-5-Ceteth-20, Glyceryl Caprate, Caprylyl Glycol, Peg-60 Almond Glycerides, Peg-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Citric Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Chloride, Glyceryl Caprylate, Ethoxydiglycol, Linseed Acid, Phenylpropanol, Glycerin, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Parfum.

Price : on Pharmasept’s website the official price is €10.90 for 300ml and yes it’s a bit high, but it’s a mild sles/sls free shower gel and if you have sensitive, dry and irritated skin give it a try. Remember that you don’t have to pay full price, because you can find it cheaper at online Greek pharmacies.

Where can you find it : as far as I know you can find Pharmasept products only in Greece, in regular and online pharmacies, but some of the online pharmacies ship to other countries, so look it up online or if you happen to visit Greece don’t forget to go into a pharmacy and check out this brand in general.

Γεια σας κορίτσια μου όμορφα! Πρόσφατα σας είπα την άποψή μου για την Tol Velvet Intensive Hand Cream της Pharmasept και σήμερα θα σας μιλήσω για το αφρόλουτρο Tol Velvet Extra Mild Shower της ίδιας εταιρείας. Αυτό το αφρόλουτρο δεν περιέχει sles/sls και είναι ειδικά σχεδιασμένο για ευαίσθητα, ξηρά και ερεθισμένα δέρματα.

Συσκευασία : το προϊόν έρχεται σε ένα άσπρο πλαστικό μπουκάλι με πράσινες λεπτομέρειες, έρχεται με καπάκι που ανοίγει απλά σπρώχνοντας το και χωράει 300ml. Είναι αρκετά καλή ποσότητα, ούτε τεράστια ούτε μικρή. Δε μπορείς να δεις πόσο προϊόν σου έχει μείνει, εκτός και αν βάλεις το σωληνάριο μπροστά από δυνατό φως.

Άρωμα : δε μπορώ να περιγράψω ακριβώς πως μυρίζει, αλλά μου θυμίζει την ήπια μυρωδιά καθαριότητας που έχουν πολλά φαρμακευτικά προϊόντα. Άνετα μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί και από άντρες μιας και έχει ήπια μυρωδιά.

Χρώμα & Υφή : είναι διαφανές θα έλεγα και η υφή του δεν είναι ούτε πηχτή ούτε αραιή. (δυστυχώς ξέχασα να βγάλω φωτογραφία το αφρόλουτρο και τώρα το έχω χρησιμοποιήσει όλο)

Χρήση & Αποτελέσματα : μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε το συγκεκριμένο αφρόλουτρο κυριολεκτικά παντού, στο σώμα σας (ναι και στην ευαίσθητη περιοχή), στο πρόσωπό σας, ακόμα και στα μαλλιά σας. Εγώ το χρησιμοποίησα μόνο στο σώμα, γιατί δε μου αρέσουν στο πρόσωπο προϊόντα που κάνουν αφρό και έχω αρκετά σαμπουάν χωρίς sles/sls. Έχω ευαίσθητο και σε μερικά σημεία ξηρό δέρμα στο σώμα (τα πόδια μου για παράδειγμα) και το συγκεκριμένο αφρόλουτρο ούτε μου το ερέθισε ούτε μου το αφυδάτωσε, οπότε είναι όντως ήπιο. Περιέχει ουρία που κάνει ήπια χημική απολέπιση στο δέρμα, ενώ η βιταμίνη F και η προ-βιταμίνη Β5 «κλειδώνουν» την υγρασία, αφήνοντάς το απαλό. Επίσης περιέχει αλόη, η οποία είναι γνωστή για τις καταπραϋντικές και απαλυντικές δράσεις της.

Τιμή : στο site της Pharmasept η επίσημη τιμή είναι €10.90 για τα 300ml και ναι είναι αρκετά υψηλή, αλλά είναι ένα ήπιο αφρόλουτρο χωρίς sles/sls και αν έχετε ευαίσθητο, ξηρό και ερεθισμένο δέρμα δοκιμάστε το. Να θυμάστε ότι δε χρειάζεται να το αγοράσετε στην κανονική του τιμή, καθώς μπορείτε να το βρείτε φθηνότερα σε ηλεκτρονικά φαρμακεία.

Που μπορείτε να το βρείτε : σε κανονικά και online φαρμακεία, όπως για παράδειγμα το OFarmakopoiosMou, από το οποίο έχω παραγγείλει αρκετές φορές χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα και στο οποίο το συγκεκριμένο αφρόλουτρο κοστίζει €7.63. Επίσης στο PharmacyDiscount, από όπου ήταν η τελευταία μου παραγγελία, το αφρόλουτρο αυτό κοστίζει μόλις €6.81, αρκετά μεγάλη διαφορά τιμής σε σχέση με την αρχική (€4.09 για την ακρίβεια), οπότε ψάξτε το! ;)

Ενημέρωση : Η ελληνική φαρμακευτική εταιρεία Pharmasept πολύ ευγενικά μου έστειλε το συγκεκριμένο προϊόν για review. Η άποψή μου είναι πάντα ειλικρινής, γιατί ΕΣΕΙΣ είστε η προτεραιότητά μου. Ποτέ δε θα σας πρότεινα κάτι που δε μου άρεσε.
